Ever since that cold night in Minneapolis, Minnesota where the Vikings had a chance to beat the Seattle, Seahawks in the wildcard game in the 2016 NFL playoffs. The Vikings had an amazing season of 11 wins and 5 loses which was enough to win the division. Many Vikings fans felt that the Vikings would finally go to another Super Bowl and for the first time in franchise history, bring the Vince Lombardi trophy back to Minnesota, but that was not the case. In the closing seconds of the game, Vikings losing 10-9, they line up for a 27-yard field goal try. Usually a chip shot for Blair Walsh instead he shanked the football left, missing the field goal, crushing the Vikings chances and ending their season. Since then he has been on a downhill spiral and has been recently dropped from the Vikings. Last season he made 34 out of 39 field goals then this season going 12 out of 16 before getting dropped.
